# System Requirements

## X1E Installation Requirements

**X1 Enterprise Manager Requirements:**

**OS:** Microsoft Server Microsoft Server 64bit 2019      
**CPU:** 2 GHz  8 Cores (Minimum recommendation)      
**Memory:** 16GB RAM (Minimum recommendation)      
**Disk:** 100 GB free hard disk space recommended    

**Software:**    

- Open Java Development Kit v8 (64-bit)
- .NET Framework 4.8 ( X1E Load File Service component)
- Outlook Client – 2016 or later 64bit ( X1E Load File Service component)
- Preferred browser (set to default): Google Chrome
- Apache Tomcat 7 is installed with the Enterprise Manager

**CAUTION:** Enterprise Manager is not compatible with Internet Explorer    

 Collection Storage:    One year of collection storage. Estimate TBD    

**MongoDB:**  
**OS:** Microsoft Server 2012 R2, Microsoft Server 2016, or Microsoft Server 2019

**NOTE:** Minimum recommendations for installing a MongoDB instance on a separate machine. User specific sizing needs/recommendations should be used.

**Note:**  X1 Enterprise Manager Servers must be part of an Active Directory domain

 

**X1 Client Desktop(s):**

**OS:** Microsoft Windows  10   
**CPU:** 2.6 GHz minimum 2 processors   
**Memory:** 4 GB RAM (8 GB RAM recommended)  
**Disk:**  50-80 GB free hard disk space (software and indexes/DB) 

**Software:**

- .NET Framework 4.8 or later
- Outlook client (required for indexing of Outlook data) 16GB RAM (Minimum recommendation)
