What are the minimum system requirements for running Social Discovery?

** Microsoft .NET: X1 Social Discovery requires Microsoft's .NET 4.5.2 Framework or higher. While Windows OS already includes .NET, you can find more information on the Microsoft .NET website and download it here.
† Please note that this is the minimum requirement for memory however there are many components of X1 Discovery which require a lot of memory to use. Examples of this are creating PNG images, capturing very large webpages and very large videos. If you notice performance problems with capturing videos or pngs not saving not saving properly, or any scanner functionality -- this may indicate that more memory is required. †† This requirement has been changed to a minimum of 100 GB due to the fact that we've added components to our scanners such as mass video capture, web crawling, pulling down files and creating PNGs which can take up an incredibly large amount of space. It is recommended that you use a local drive or an external local hard drive with at least 100 GB of free drive space. Network drives are not recommended as they could be unreliable and when there is an interruption during indexing, it could potentially damage the index.
††† In order to view Videos from inside the Social Discovery software you must also have Adobe Flash installed.
